How to Get There:
To reach the port of Padang, from where our boat sails to the Mentawai, we first recommend flying to Jakarta, which is easily accessible from several Italian cities such as Milan and Rome. In approx. 16 h of flight time, you land in Jakarta (CGK), the capital of Indonesia. From here, you need to reach Padang, there are several domestic flights from Jakarta to Padang, with Lion Air, Garuda, Citilink, Sriwijaya.

Average Flight Price:
For international flight, In High Season between 800- 1100€ a/r , in Low Season between 4500-800€ a/r – prices per person. For domestic flights, on average between 40 and 100€ each way.

Health Care and Documents:
Italian citizens do not need a special visa to travel to Indonesia. You pay a 25 euro fee when entering the country and a 15 euro fee when leaving the country. It is recommended that you make several copies of your passport in case the original is lost. There are no good hospital facilities in Mentawai, only small medical centers, we recommend traveling with international travel insurance, in the remote case of transferring to the hospital by helicopter.
